The site is 35 km away from the town of Mirny (Yakutia) on the left bank of the river Yuznyi Chuonalir. The site is sufficiently studied to be a reference site.
The Tympuchikansky license area is located in the Lensky district of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), on the border with the Irkutsk region.
Streltsovskoe ore field unites 20 uranium deposits. It is located in the Streltsovskaya volcano-tectonic caldera with an area of about 140 km2 It is an integral part of the Late Mesozoic Tulukuevskaya volcano-tectonic structure (depressions) with an area of about 230 km2 . The area is 15 km to the East from the city of Krasnokamensk.
The area is located to the east of Gorno-Altaisk city and to the south-east of Choi village. The Ishinskaya area covers the Turavity Creek – the right tributary of the river Yugaly.
In the period from October 11 to November 25 of 2015 geophysical works were carried out using the Electromagnetic Sounding and Induced Polarization (EMS-IP) technology at the Novokuznetsovskaya license area for the search for polymetals near the city Zmeinogorsk in the Altai Territory. Zmeinogorsk is located to the south of the border of Novokuznetsovskaya license area. Within the area the vilage Novokuznetsovka is located. Near the area several villages are located connected by roads and dirt roads. A highway (R-370) -Barnaul-Ust-Kamenogorsk and a high-voltage power line go through Zmeinogorsk. The railway station Rubtsovsk of the West Siberian Railway locates in 90 km to the north-west of Zmeinogorsk.
In the summer field season 2014 a significant amount of field geophysical work was carried out in six sites. The results were summarized in the annual scientific report on the RFBR grant (project number 14-45-04156). In the summer field season 2015 research was continued at etalon sites of the Baikal region and in the area of the main shear zone.
Four sites near the practice base of INRTU “Chernorud” were investigated in order to determine the geoelectrical characteristics of rocks under conditions of natural occurrence (gabbro and marble). The works on the sites “Sporny”, “Gabbro-15”, “Gabbro-16”, “Marble-4” served as the basis for the geological interpretation of geophysical sections.
Methodical works were continued on the site “Marble-2”. An area survey was performed by using magnetometry, radiometry and EMS-IP methods within the main shear zone in the region of the gabbro root exit.
Earlier works were carried out on the sites “Kurma”, “Sarma”, “Chernorud”, “Marble-2” and “Marble-3”.
